The Mighty Alliance Fan Fest Tailgate Party is free and fun for the whole family! All ages are welcome. Located at Oyhut Bay, just five miles south of Downtown Ocean Shores.

Local artists with hand crafted items for sale. Grange ladies will be serving a light lunch with soup, roll and home made apple crisp.

Come out to Rokfest 6, the annual music event to raise funds for the South Pacific County Humane Society! Local Harbor favorite band Six Pack Pretty will play 80’s cover tunes, with Woodland,WA-based band Stiffler opening. All proceeds go to help animals in need! Admission is free, with donations accepted.
Fantastic prizes will be raffled off throughout the evening, all for a great cause.
Come dance the night away at this fun annual community event that makes a difference. Ages 21+. Event runs from 8:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. At Charlie’s Tavern, 313 South Main St., in Montesano.

Jeremy Kittel is an American fiddler, violinist, and composer. Fluent in multiple genres, his original music draws from traditional roots, jazz, Celtic, classical, eletronic, and more. He has composed and arranged for artists Jars of Clay, Yo-Yo Ma, and the Silk Road Ensemble. The Trio appeared in “Prairie Home Companion,” in addition to their frequent tours. Adults $15, Seniors $12, $10 Students, 12 & under one free w/paying adult.

Grays Harbor College has received final approval for its third Bachelor of Applied Science degree, this one focused on K-8 Teacher Education. Courses will begin next Fall 2017, and students will be offered two pathways, K-8 Practicum or K-8 with Special Education.
An informational session about the Bachelor of Applied Science – Teacher Education (BAS-TE) degree is planned for Thursday, October 20, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Room 4135 of the Schermer Building.

Westport Timberland Library presents Boom Times to Hard Times: Grays Harbor in the 1930s, 2-3 p.m., October 22 for adults and teens. Grays Harbor during the 1930s – the Great Depression years – was a very different place. Polson Museum’s John Larson will describe and show photos of what life was like in that era. This is part of Timberland Reads Together, an annual Timberland Regional Library district-wide program. For more information call 360-268-0521.

The Elma Chamber of Commerce, along with Elma Businesses invite families to the 18th annual Elma Downtown Trick or Treat on Monday, October 31st. Bring your trick or treaters from 3:00 – 6:00 PM to the Elma Chamber and participating businesses. Enjoy a wagon ride on the Elma Feed Store shuttle, which will be loading and unloading at the Elma Chamber.

The Friends of the Winlock Timberland Library will hold their yearly Silent Auction of locally crafted, artisan items starting Tuesday, November 8. Here is the schedule:
- Saturday, November 5 – Last day to bring items for donation to the library
- Tuesday, November 8 – Auction opens, silent bids accepted at the library
- Wednesday, November 23 at 2 p.m.- Bidding closes
All proceeds support events and programs at the Winlock Timberland Library.
