2019-2024 Grays Harbor Plan to Address Unmet Housing Needs Adopted

County is seeking proposals to continue existing Homeless Housing services

Submitted by Grays Harbor County Public Health & Social Services Department

To fulfill a 2018 legislative requirement, Grays Harbor County has updated and adopted its local plan to address unmet housing needs.

The 2019-2024 Grays Harbor County Five Year Plan to Address Unmet Housing Needs is now available on our website at www.healthygh.org/directory/housing.

The County conducted extensive outreach throughout our community to present information about plan requirements and the impacts to funding availability. And, for the parts of the plan that allowed for flexibility, we gathered and incorporated stakeholder feedback.

The plan sets the community vision for addressing homelessness and unmet housing needs. It also, by law, is the road map for how local homeless housing funds can and will be invested.

The County is seeking proposals to continue existing homeless housing services outlined in the 2019-2024 Plan – both those mandated by the State and those designed based on community priorities.

Template and materials are available at www.healthygh.org/directory/housing.

All proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 7. If you have questions or need more information please contact Cassie Lentz at 360-500-4049 or clentz@co.grays-harbor.wa.us.

Proposals and resulting contracts for apparently successful bidders will be for the time period of July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2021.
