There is good news for travelers who use State Route 109 in Grays Harbor County. City of Hoquiam crews were able to reopen the highway at milepost 2 on Thursday, January 9.
On Wednesday, January 8, Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews were able to open both lanes of the highway at milepost 34, north of Moclips.
Both locations were closed on Tuesday, January 7 after heavy rainfall triggered multiple mudslides.
WSDOT would like to thank residents for their patience while crews worked to reopen the highway.
