The Elma Timberland Library will be closed from Tuesday, November 28 through Saturday, December 16 for new carpeting.
The project is paid for by a grant for $15,000 from Grays Harbor Foundation obtained by the Friends of the Elma Library and from the City of Elma’s library building fund. The estimated bid for this project is $30,659.85.
Planned re-open date: December 19
Items due during the closure will be extended until the first open day: Tuesday, December 19. The book drop will be checked during the renovation.
Items on hold that would normally be sent to Elma during the closure will be held and delivered on the first open day. Patrons are encouraged to use nearby Timberland libraries which will remain open and may re-assign their holds to other locations.
