If you like to grab your caffeine kick a little later in the day, you’re in luck. Because your favorite local coffee stand is expanding their hours for the summer. Starting on April 20, South Bay Coffee Company will now be open until 8:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings. This is just one way owner Stephanie Childers continues to evolve her business to meet the needs of her customers and it’s paying off. “It brings some new excitement to what we’re doing and what we can offer,” she shares. “And the customers really appreciate it when we change things up.”
South Bay Coffee Company is proud to recently be awarded this year’s Best of Twin Harbor’s medal for coffee stands in the area. “It put us on top of the world” Stephanie says. “It just shows all of our hard work, dedication and training, everything that we put together is what our customers want and that just feels so good.” After coming in second last year to one of the chain coffee stands, she says it feels great to win this year.
Stephanie and her team now want a chance to give back and show just how much their customers mean to them. So on Friday, April 27, they will host their Customer Appreciation Day to honor those who make their business thrive. “They’re our life blood,” she says. “Without them we cannot be there. Customers are the most important thing to us. This is a thank you to them for supporting us.” There will be numerous specials, giveaways, and raffles and she says to keep an eye on their Facebook Page for updates.
Along with new weekend hours, South Bay Coffee Company also has some new fun flavors to brighten those dreary days. White Peach, Cantaloupe, Desert Pear and Sugar-Free Blue Raspberry will now join the already extensive list. Also don’t forget to try their new Lotus spritzer Tie Dyed, which is similar to Red Bull, but without the crash due to its plant based ingredients. The coffee stand also now serves Thai Iced Tea along with their other great herbal tea recipes hot or iced. And before you drive off, don’t forget to satisfy your hunger cravings with their delicious bagel sandwiches and stuffed pretzels, also recently added to the menu.
