March 1 is a big deal in my house. It means a month of eating as much corned beef in as many forms as possible: Ruben, hash, and of course corned beef and cabbage. Even with all the pandemic craziness, nothing will stop me from eating my fill of Irish-American fare in March, and I am sure I am not alone! So, put on some green and head out to our local restaurants and pubs. Here are a few places to find corned beef in Grays Harbor on St. Patrick’s Day and throughout the month of March.
Galway Bay Irish Restaurant and Pub
880 Point Brown Avenue NE, Ocean Shores

Galway Bay Irish Restaurant and Pub is of course a great place to go to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Grays Harbor. It’s not just a restaurant and a pub, they also have an amazing Celtic store that feels like you are stepping into a stone cottage in Galway itself. All that’s missing are the swans by the shore. Here you can get all sorts of Irish fare, from Irish lattes that are house-infused Bushmills Irish whiskey and espresso beans served over ice with simple syrup and half and half, topped with whipped cream, to traditional Irish fare you won’t find anywhere else on the coast like colcannon. The menu is substantial and has everything you could want, including a corned beef sandwich, corned beef hash and a traditional Irish breakfast. They even have a St. Patrick pizza! Check out their Facebook page for news on the St. Patrick’s Day Gift Basket Giveaway.
