Fall is upon us. Your kids have probably already changed their minds about five times on their Halloween costume. But before you dress up, it’s time to head to the pumpkin patch and find that perfect pumpkin for your fall decorating! Here are the 2023 pumpkin patches in Grays Harbor.

Chapman Farms

Daily through October 31
9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

If you want the farm experience for picking out that perfect pumpkin, Champman Farms pumpkin patch in Montesano is your place! This is the last pumpkin patch in the county and, having survived COVID, is happy to be here to welcome you during the fall season. They have everything you could want when visiting a Grays Harbor farm in the fall.

There is no admission fee to enter the farm. You will want to give yourself a full day to explore, as they have so much to do! A corn maze, indoor hay maze, outdoor straw maze, hay rides (on the weekends beginning in October) and more. Watch for the airplanes that consistently flying in and out of the farm!

In addition to carving pumpkins, Chapman Farms in Grays Harbor has green beans, zucchini, gourds, squash, pie pumpkins, decorative pumpkins of just about every shape/color/size, pickling cucumbers, sunflowers, and select fruits and vegetables will be available daily through October.

Hungry? they also have pastries and baked goods from Nancy’s Bakery for sale. They will have other vendors this season as well, including a taco truck, donut shop and a coffee stand, among others.

Before you leave, check out all the fall decorations for sale in the red barn, including shirts, blankets, signs, coffee, crafts and accessories.

Chapman Farms accepts Visa/Mastercard, WIC/senior checks and EBT snap. For more information, visit the Champman Farms Facebook page. Dogs on leash are welcome. Make sure you pick up after your dog and keep an eye on them while visiting the farm. If you do bring your dog, Chapman Farms loves it if you post on social and tag them!

Smith Farm Pumpkins

October 1 – October 31, weekends only
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
270 Camp One Road, Raymond

Just a drive south on the 101 is Smith Farm Pumpkins in Pacific County. This farm offers several types of pumpkins as well as family-friendly activities like face painting, local vendors selling crafts and fall décor, photo opportunities and more.
