Every year we take a day to focus on the Earth, and how important taking care of it is for the health of all of us. From picking up trash on the beach to learning about sustainable resources, It’s great education and public service for the entire family. Here some things to do to celebrate Earth Day 2024 in Grays Harbor County.

April 20, 12 p.m.
Grays Harbor Historical Seaport
500 North Custer Street, Aberdeen

The Grays Harbor Historical Seaport is having an Earth Day Celebration the Saturday before Earth Day in 2024. There will be games, crafts and activities. The free event will also have light refreshments available and, if the weather is nice, a picnic area and outdoor games.

April 20, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Mill Creek Park

Grays Harbor Stream Team and the City of Cosmopolis is having a volunteer work party event for Earth Day. Learn about invasive and native plants, then help to clean up the park by pulling invasive species and planting native plants. Refreshments, tools and gloves provided, or bring your own.

Chance Ala Mer

The Grays Harbor Surfriders, a chapter of CoastSavers, is hosting a Washington Coast Cleanup Day at Chance Ala Mer for Earth Day. Register at online at the CoastSavers website.

Coastal Interpretive Center
1033 Catala Ave SE, Ocean Shores

The Coastal Interpretive Center invites you to celebrate Earth Day with them! They will be open that day and free to the public! There will be lots of fun activities themed around the day.
