With fair only a short time away, come on by the Fairgrounds, Saturday and Sunday, June 17 and 18 for the Pre-Fair Horse Show. Watch as the riders prepare to qualify for performing during the 2017 Grays Harbor County Fair.
Bring your bicycle to the library! We will learn about bicycle safety and maintenance, and do some fun bicycle activities. This event is part of Summer Reading, a Timberland Regional Library district-wide program.

We’ve all seen would-be beautiful spaces choked by a field of invasive plants, whether they be Scotch Broom, blackberry thickets, tansy, thistles, reed canary grass, knotweed…. you get the picture. But what is our local government doing about it, and how can we help? Join Nancy Ness, coordinator for the Grays Harbor County Noxious Weed Board on an exploratory workshop on invasive control methods in use by our local governments. Prepare for the weather with rain gear, boots, or sunscreen as needed.

The Grays Harbor unit 428 of the American Contract Bridge Association hosts a game every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in the Aberdeen Square Building. Partnerships are not guaranteed, but visitors are welcome.

The celebration is for anyone earning a GED between July 2016 and now who took the GED tests at the College. Those interested in participating should contact the Transitions office at 360-538-4167 as soon as possible.
Not only does the event acknowledge those who have successfully passed the GED test, but also those who have earned their high school diplomas through GHC’s High School 21+ program. Tickets are not required for the ceremony.

Anyone can learn to code in this one hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code. Bring your own device or use one of the library’s laptops. This event is part of Summer Reading, a Timberland Regional Library district-wide program.
Learn about Disability Rights Washington’s programs and activities and ways to get involved. Discuss DRW’s current priorities and share what issues are important to you and your community. Sit down with others for a focused discussion on an area of interest to you & watch short films produced by the video and social media project of Disability Rights Washington, Rooted in Rights. Additionally, there will be a separate session to learn about the new Office of DD Ombuds Program at each location.
Try your hand at auditioning for a talent show.
