The tall ships Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain have set a visit for Cap Sante Marina in Anacortes July 9-27, which will include public tours and public sailings. During their Anacortes stay, the ships will make a five-day trip to the San Juan Islands for the Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain’s annual Expedition Voyages Family & Youth Camp.
Here’s the ships’ public schedule:
7/26-27: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., walk-on tours, $3 donation per person.
7/26-27: 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Battle Sail, $43-$63.
7/26: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Evening Sail (Lady Washington only), $43.

The popular hour and a half marine terminals tour will begin with a brief overview presentation of Port history and current happenings, followed by a bus tour, courtesy of Channel Point Village, of the surrounding industrial properties and marine terminals.

The Washington Tuna Classic is a registered 501(c) (3) charity founded on the basic principle of giving back to the community while having fun. We are a truely hardcore fishing tournament with over ten thousand dollars in awards and donated prizes our first year but we find as many ways possible to give back to the community in the process. We lead by example! The Washington Tuna Classic is an all volunteer organization.

Join our Feet on the Street Fun Run. The whole family is welcome to attend the fun run event and then enjoy Downtown Elma’s Heat on the Street Car Show after hosted by the Elma Chamber of Commerce.
Races available for all levels and benefits the Homeless Backpack Program of Grays Harbor, assisting child hunger locally.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. for the 9 a.m. 1K and the 10 a.m. 10K and 5K.
Maps will be available at registration and the course will be clearly marked.
Parking is available at Elma High School.
Please bring your waivers, registration online, photo ID.
Registration for this event closes August 1.

The guided walking tours at Satsop Business Park offer an excellent way to explore the unique assets the Park has to offer including the cooling towers, tunnel training facility, warehouses, and office buildings. Comfortable, closed-toed shoes are required for this tour.
