Musician Sean Gaskell will give a performance and educational demonstration on the Kora, an ancient 21-string harp from West Africa.
He will play both traditional songs and original compositions. The Kora is native to the Mande peoples who live within the countries of Gambia, Senegal, Mali, Guinea and Guinea Bissau.
On the third Thursday of each month, The Arc of Grays Harbor offers an informative Parent Support group for parents of kids with developmental disabilities. Contact Charlene at 360-537-7000 for more information.

Doctors in our area are retiring or leaving the Harbor; finding primary care providers is harder than ever. Daily entertainment includes Davis Carnival rides, the comedy and magic of Steve the Pretty Good, Muriel’s Petting Zoo, and A Walk on the Wild Side animal display. Attention paddling, rowing, SUP and water sports enthusiasts. All human-powered water craft are invited to a fun-filled day on the beautiful canals of Ocean Shores Washington.
In addition to the popular Poker Paddle, activities will include 2 or 6-mile human-powered boat races, rubber duck pond and race for the kids, a cardboard boat race, Quinault Paddle Exhibition, speakers, vendors, skills demonstrations and a Music Festival just across the way in our beautiful new grassy Amphitheater.
