Dine and Dance event
Come and enjoy a favorite local band Six Pack Pretty for an evening of dancing after dinner which will be catered by the Welcome Inn.
We’ll be serving Prime Rib dips and having a dessert auction with lots of delicious sweets to pick from.
GH Wine Sellars will be serving some of their favorite wine and the Beer will be provided by Steam Donkey at our No Host Bar.

The fun starts at 11:00 AM for the Aberdeen’s 5th Annual Founders’ Day Parade!

Car show entry is from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Judging is 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Raffle and 50/50 drawings throughout announced at 1:00 p.m.

Join our annual pilgrimage celebrating the Feast of the Dormition (Assumption) of Our Lady with beautiful services in the Byzantine Catholic liturgical tradition. St.George Byzantine Catholic Church is in full communion with Pope Francis. There will be daily Divine Liturgy (mass) along with vespers, molebens, akathist as well as rosaries and confession.
This year’s Marian speaker will be the Most Reverend John Sianchuk, C.Ss.R..
This pilgrimage is typically attended by many children and teens. For them, there will be a children’s procession and akathist, children’s and teen activities and a campfire (weather permitting).
Saturday lunch will be delicious pulled pork barbecued overnight by parish members (available for purchase). Other light meals,and snacks and coffee will be available for a donation.
Bring a tent or camper to camp out on the premises.

Please join us for Channel Point Village’s opening Speaker Series event with John Larson, Executive Director of The Polson Museum in Hoquiam, WA, as he explores the theme “Capture the Moment” in relation to the museum’s community-based oral history project “My Harbor Story” and his work at the museum.
Calling all artists and art fans! Village Concepts of Hoquiam – Channel Point Village is hosting a juried Art Show with the theme “Capture the Moment,” exhibiting the creative work of artists from the greater Grays Harbor community. Everyone is welcome! Painters, sculptors, photographers, multimedia artists and others are encouraged to exhibit. Judging categories include Best Use of Theme, Best Use of Color, Fan Favorite, and others. Enjoy a tasting of Wynoochee Wineries wines and music by Ellen Pickell. Harvest Moon, Storyteller and Quinault Tribal Ambassador shares stories from the Northwest Coast Indian tradition. In partnership with Hoquiam Timberland Library.
Westport Winery will host one of its popular murder mystery dinners on Wednesday, October 31 at 6pm which is Halloween night. The Murder Before Midnight features the unlikely marriage of 1960s posh aristocracy with hippy pig farmers. Half of the victims and suspects are Kennedy era wannabes while the other half sport tie dye and peace signs. Everyone is invited to dress for the fun and the holiday as they see fit. A few guests may volunteer to join the cast, and everyone will act as deputies in solving Who done it?
Storyteller Rebecca Hom will share the stories of several Women Airforce Service Pilots, (WASPs) as well as the history of the program. The WASPs were an essential part of the US military’s air efforts during WWII.
The WASP training base was in Sweetwater, Texas – A dry desolate place where 1,100 women trained at Avenger Field, during WWII. They were selected from more than 25,000 applicants from all over the United States. Those chosen were highly qualified civilian pilots, and became the first females to earn their Silver Wings and fly military aircraft. These women flew over 60 million miles, in pursuit, cargo, and bomber planes during the brief two years of the WASP program. Their proficiency, enthusiasm, and spirit served the country, broke the norm, and paved the way for the future inclusion of female pilots.

and many from the western United States. We are located in Grays Harbor on the

Our festival is always on the first full week-end (Fri.,Sat.and Sun) in June.

beach is famous for the consistency of the winds and mild temperatures,
usually low to mid sixties at the time of the festival.
