Enjoy a week of razor clam digging! Diggers ages 15 and older must have a current 2014-2015 fishing license to harvest razor clams on state beaches. If you would like to participate in the dig, you can purchase a license online, here, and from license vendors around the state.
Under state law, diggers can take 15 razor clams per day and are required to keep the first 15 they dig. Each digger’s clams must be kept in a separate container.
Central Park Lions will host an Easter egg hunt complete with eggs, candy and an appearance by the Easter Bunny.

Grays Harbor Audubon Society, Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge, and the City of Hoquiam work with a host of other local sponsors to bring you the Grays Harbor Shorebird Festival.
This event is timed to match the annual migration of hundreds of thousands of shorebirds as they pause at the Grays Harbor estuary to feed and rest before departing for their nesting grounds in the Arctic.
This wildlife spectacle happens every year at Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge and other parts of Grays Harbor County.
People from around the world come to view this event of hemispheric importance. The Shorebird Festival works to bring people together for this incredible natural phenomenon.
A portion of revenues in excess of festival expenses helps to fund education programs and scientific research at Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge and helps pay for continuation of construction of the boardwalk, benches and signage.

Come one come all. Seaport Landing, Aberdeen’s new public waterfront and home port for the tall ships Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain, is asking members of the Grays Harbor community to volunteer their time to prepare Lady Washington’s home for her 25th birthday celebration.
The Historical Seaport “Salty Saturday” Project Parties are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday from now through May in preparation for our ships return on June 5th. Salty Saturday projects are flexible and can accommodate individuals, groups or organizations. Minors over 12 are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Our first Salty Saturday is scheduled for Saturday, March 1.
Inside and outside projects are available. A Seaport Landing staff member will help volunteers find an appropriate project. Volunteers should dress warmly, even for indoor projects. Volunteers interested in helping with gardening and landscaping should bring their own garden tools.

Watch the fancy footwork of Grays Harbor local YMCA fitness director Lisa Kless, Harbor Bottling president Tim Martin, urologist-surgeon Dr. Steve Reznicek, former State Rep. Lynn Kessler, Grays Harbor Community Hospital Foundation chair Natasha Martens, and Quigg Brothers project manager Charlie Quigg at Dancing with Your Stars.
Dancing with Your Stars returns to the Bishop Center, this time sponsored by the Grays Harbor College Foundation as a fundraiser for World Class Scholars. As for last year’s show, the new cast of dazzling dancers from the Harbor will train with professional dancers the week prior to the Saturday evening benefit show.
All proceeds from this benefit show will go the World Class Scholars program. Last year’s Dancing With Your Stars sold out early, and tickets for this show, since it directly benefits the future education of our youth, will go quickly too!
