For 2015, Westport Winery is hosting “Dancing Without Scars” one night a month as a fundraiser for Beyond Survival, a domestic violence support group in Aberdeen. Rather than charge guests a cover charge, the winery is offering free live music the third Friday of every month and encouraging dancers to leave a donation for this organization.
The first of these fun-filled dance event features the Maki-Melihoff Jazz Duo. Whether you are dancing, dining or just listening you are invited to enjoy music in a unique intimate setting with limited seating for each dance.

Bring your current DIY arts project and network with other creative folks after hours in the library. Join us whether your thing is knitting or calligraphy, crocheting or embroidery, or anything in between. Swap stories and tips from past successes or failures. Enjoy refreshments, courtesy of the Friends of the Aberdeen Timberland Library. Plan to enter before the library closes at 7 p.m. Services will not be available after the library closes.

Raindrops provides education in a preschool environment. It’s a great place for children to practice skills, develop emotional and physical abilities and forge lifelong friendships!
Come support Raindrop preschool with a fun bingo night! Lots of prizes and a cash raffle! Doors open at 6, Bingo begins at 6:30.
$1 each card or $5 for 6 cards.
Food available for purchase and childcare offered with a donation.

Sheriff Rick Scott and Grays Harbor County Emergency Management will offer the Grays Harbor County Elected Official & Senior Executive Disaster Workshop.
It is imperative that ALL Elected Government Officials, Cities, Local Response Agencies, Fire Districts, the Port of Grays Harbor, PUD, Grays Harbor Transit, Grays Harbor Businesses, Local Volunteer Organizations and the School Districts make every effort to attend this meeting. Representatives from Washington State Emergency Management Division, FEMA, The National Guard, from the Region 3 Incident Management Team and Grays Harbor County Emergency Management will be speaking about the processes of disaster response and mitigation, what types of assistance is available to all in our county and major positive changes to a catastrophic disaster response to our region.
The information will be extremely insightful and helpful to all who attend.
Coffee and Danish will be available in the morning and lunch will be served in the afternoon.

The Metales M5 theatrical show Vuelta de Fuego is a delightful blend of great music, outstanding musicianship, effortless virtuosity, humor, and a winning rapport with the audience. Whether playing Bach, Bernstein, Humperdinck, or Piozzolla, this concert by Mexico’s foremost brass quintet is fun, surprising and unexpected! One reviewer stated the “M5 is the best thing to come out of Mexico since tequila!”

Come watch the Superbowl with D&R Theatre. This is a family friendly event. Concessions, ice cream, coffee and drinks will be available at the event. Best dressed male and female 12s will win costume competition. The crowd will be the judge. Ask anyone who was there last year, not a better place to see this event!
The event starts at noon with the chance to tailgate in the beautiful decorated event center (for $12) and includes a meal ticket and music. At 3:00 p.m. we’ll head on over to the theater and get ready for the big game. If we can fill the theater with 1,200 12s we have been promised TV time on regional news broadcasts.
