This festival is dedicated to all things “razor clam.” The razor clam chowder restaurant contest is perhaps the most popular of the festival events. The judging is done by both the public and by professional chefs. The amateur razor clam chowder cook-off draws dozens of folks showing their “razor clam chowder” skills and is judged by professional chefs as well as 2016 amateur winners, in this case a team including Tyson and Annelise Diers from NewCastle and Nick and Katie Harmston. Visitors are likely to be able to taste some other restaurant seafood specialties as well. Wine and food pairing demonstrations was also very popular last year and likely to be very busy again. This year, there will be cooking demonstrations on the Main Stage to peak your interest. Tickets will be for sale to enjoy “Foods From Around the World” and wine during the demonstrations.

For those visiting that like shopping to go with their food tasting, nearly six dozen vendors will offer everything from jams and jelly to jewelry and lamps and more. Pirates providing treasures for adults and kids alike are always a hit with the visitors. Games for the kids at the festival always make for great memories.

Mountain Bike Ride with Buck! @ Buck's Bikes

Group meets most Saturdays – double check with Buck’s Bikes to make sure a ride is taking place.

We primarily ride the mountain bike trails in and around Seabrook. We don’t leave people behind and try to stay in a group riding at a fun and relaxed pace. That being said, the trails may be found challenging to the very beginner or new rider. Helmets required.

Grays Harbor Relay For Life @ Immanuel Baptist Church

Our theme this year is “Super Heroes”, and we are inviting our Survivors to our annual free Survivor Social. All Survivors and their family/friends are encouraged to come join us as we celebrate our Survivor Super Heroes!

At the Social we will serve them breakfast. There will be live entertainment, guest speakers, an opportunity for Survivors to share their stories, and lots of good fellowship and love.

Survivors will receive their 2017 Survivor t-shirt, and will be able to register for this year’s Relay For Life at the Survivor Social. Pre-registration allows them to go straight to the table at Relay on June 2nd to receive their 2017 Survivor medal, without having to stand in line.

Habitat for Humani-Tea @ Seabrook Town Hall

We will host the 3rd annual ladies Habitat for Humani-Tea in the town hall to benefit our local Habitat for Humanity non-profit organization. Each year, Seabrook Community Foundation grants money to this organization to do the good work they do in our community. The ladies tea is a celebration of that work and also a way to increase fundraising beyond what the SCF grant money can accomplish.

You will enjoy tea, great food, great company, live music, a mimosa bar, dessert auction, and fabulous guest speakers!

Free Fairy Garden Class @ Westport Winery Garden Resort

The Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties Master Gardeners will hold a free plant clinic. Guests are invited to bring a planter or pot with soil as they receive assistance from the master gardeners on how to create a quaint and cute fairy garden. Reservations are not required.

All attendees will receive a 10% discount on plants. All ages are welcome. Folks are also welcome to bring random plant and gardening questions to get advice from the master gardeners.

The nursery at the winery has a nice array of plants including perennials, shrubs, trees and fruits. All herb starts, vegetables, baskets, planters and annuals are 40% off.
