2014 Aberdeen Downtown Art Walk and Celebration’s 16th annual event will take place in the heart of historical downtown Aberdeen. Organizers Aberdeen Revitalization Movement and the Midnight Cruisers have teamed up once again to provide a day of fun and entertainment for area Art lovers and Car Enthusiasts.

The popular event will include talented artists and crafts persons set up throughout Central Downtown Aberdeen. Entertainment will include outstanding performances by local talents.  Artists, Entertainers, and food vendors will guide the way to Midnight Cruisers Car Show of Outstanding Autos. Book lovers will enjoy The Annual Aberdeen Library Book Sale .

On Friday, an Artist’s Reception will be  followed by a Street Dance with the band Ready or Not.

You are invited to attend the grand opening of “Blue Tail Gallery”, a new art venue in Ocean Shores. Enjoy refreshments while admiring the artworks on display of several local and international artists.

The “Blue Tail Gallery” is located in the North Beach Printing building. Owner Artemisa Garcia shares her new venture with the residents and visitors here in Ocean Shores by inviting you to this grand opening event.

Among the artists participating in this venture are award-wining artists, international artists, amateur artists, and some artists that have never exhibited before. So there is a lot of talent, variety and beauty to behold under one roof. The collection of original fine arts and reproductions includes: watercolors, oil, acrylics, pastels, encaustic, and photography are available for sale, including greeting cards.

Blue Tail Gallery will be open from Monday through Thursday 9am-6pm, Fridays, and Saturdays 10am-8pm, and Sundays 10am-5pm.

7th Street Kids presented Honk! Jr in the summer of 2004 and is excited to present the full version of this delightful and witty “Poultry Tale” this summer.

Come to the 7th Street Theater and join Ugly on his quest to find out where an odd duck belongs and what it means to be different. HONK!

The result of the event, now in its third year, has been increased foot traffic in downtown, a spike in sales for local businesses, join participating businesses every First Thursday from May through September and enjoy special deals, food, music and local art.

Add metallic parts like watch gears to hats and necklaces; make temporary tattoos and play quirky Victorian parlor games, all to a background of steampunk images and rock music. Bring a favorite stuffed animal toy for a sleepover at the library. After an evening of stories, rhymes, songs and movement games, we’ll tuck the animals in and say goodnight. Calling all lovers of the night sky. Join in a session of fascinating astronomy activities. Use glow-in-the-dark paint to create your own star chart for tracking the constellations, discover your star sign, make an astrolabe, simulate a black hole, and make a miniature simulation of the expansion of the universe. This event is part of Summer Reading, a Timberland Regional Library districtwide program.

Montesano Youth Soccer Club wants to invite all families to join us for our annual Family Fun Field Day EVent. Fun For All Ages! Featuring: Bounce Houses, Face Painting, Games, Velcro Wall, Fish Bowl Raffle and More.

For infants from birth to 24 months, accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver. Join in programs of very short stories, songs, rhymes, and play and discover the joy of language with your baby. Afterward, adults can visit while babies play with toys and sturdy books.
