017 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Westport Art Festival, and we’re celebrating! With great things planned for the entire 4 day weekend, including the solar eclipse. 2 full days of discovering fine works from more than 80 artists. Enjoy great food and lively music while strolling along the beautiful Westport Marina and the Maritime Museum grounds. Take a break with a local microbrew at the Blackbeard’s Brewery Beer Garden.

Please join us for an evening of cowboy music and poetry with Kerry Grombacher. Kerry plays contemporary folk and Western songs on the guitar and mandolin. In the spirit of the troubadours of old, he paints vivid portraits with stories set in the landscapes of his life, from his home on New Orleans’ Bayou St. John to the Southwest desert, and up to Montana and the Northwest forests.

Shuttle service will be available at Simpson Elementary School. For those wishing to park at the lake, you must have a Discover Pass (passes are available at the park).
Activities include: Camp Pancake Breakfast; Trail Races; Music in the Park; Kids Games and Races; Artists’ Market; Food Vendors and more.
The Chehalis Watershed Festival will be a part of the festivities at the Lake Sylvia Fall Festival. Look for exhibitors by the lake and try out the fun arts, crafts and water-related learning activities with your whole family.

Join us for the third annual “Harvest by the Sea”, a benefit dinner honoring Coastal Harvest. The evening starts off with Cocktail Hour at 6:00 pm featuring beer brewed right here in the harbor by Steam Donkey Brewing Company and a wine paring poured by GH Wine Sellars. As you are enjoying a selection of delicious appetizers, entertainment will be provided by Ericka Corban, as seen on “The Voice”. Dinner will be catered by Mill 109 and served at 7:00 pm. The evening will wrap up with a “Desert Auction” where you will have the opportunity to select from a variety of cakes, cupcakes, pies and much more made specially for this event.
Celebrate Tolkien Week at a birthday party for Bilbo and Frodo Baggins. Make a dwarven beard, write in Elvish, and play Mt. Doom ring toss. For children and teens.
Opal Art Glass is holding it’s annual fundraiser with a portion of proceeds going to the Aberdeen Girls Softball Association. For more information, read here.

The American Lung Association is holding Reach the Beach, an inaugural bike riding fundraiser, on Saturday, September 30. This event has staggered starts in Lacey (100 mile), Olympia (80 mile), Elma (44 mile), Cosmopolis 25 mile) with the finish line in Westport.
The last stop on the ride before the finish is at Westport Winery Garden Resort between 1pm and 4pm. The event closes with dinner on the beach for the anticipated 1000 participants. The race organizers will be selling Westport’s wines by the glass to participants and their guests during dinner.
