With great things planned for the entire 4 day weekend, including the solar eclipse. 2 full days of discovering fine works from more than 80 artists. Enjoy great food and lively music while strolling along the beautiful Westport Marina and the Maritime Museum grounds. Take a break with a local microbrew at the Blackbeard’s Brewery Beer Garden.

QPR Suicide Prevention and Triage Training @ Grays Harbor College

Are you a First Responder, EMS, or Corrections Professional? Need to know how to help people who are in suicidal crisis? Please join us for a one-day training for professionals who have a high degree of contact with those at elevated risk of suicide. You will increase your knowledge and skills in suicide risk detection and initial intervention to immediately reduce the risk of suicide. You will also learn about community mental health supports and resources.

Explore the Ocean with Nautilus Live @ Grays Harbor College

This is your opportunity to ask questions of the Corps of Exploration, live from the ship at sea. A two-way communication link will be set up for anyone to ask questions in real-time with scientists, engineers and educators onboard the E/V Nautilus. This is a once in a lifetime unique opportunity for those curious about the ocean off our shores. Located in Shermer Building, Room 4134-B.

Please join us for an evening of cowboy music and poetry with Kerry Grombacher. Kerry plays contemporary folk and Western songs on the guitar and mandolin. In the spirit of the troubadours of old, he paints vivid portraits with stories set in the landscapes of his life, from his home on New Orleans’ Bayou St. John to the Southwest desert, and up to Montana and the Northwest forests.
