Today is the kick off of availability of Passport to Grays Harbor History. Visit a museum today (Aberdeen, Hoquiam, Lake Quinault, McCleary, Montesano, Moclips, Ocean Shores, or Westport) and get started collecting your unique passport stamps. Great summer fun!
Quinault Tribal Museum has had to postpone their celebration to June 16 & 17, but it will be worth the wait with a storyteller, artisans, vender, tours & refreshments.
Hood To Coast Washington is 77 miles long for running teams and 52 miles long for walking teams.
STEM is not just for kids! Explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math with a variety of tech toys. Play with Ozobots, build a LEGO® MINDSTORMS® robot, and learn some basic coding. We’ll supply the toys, but bring your smartphone to try out Virtual Reality with Google Cardboard!
Dogs and their owners compete in challenging and fun games, show their talents, and have a great time interacting together. It is just as much fun to come and watch as it is to participate.
A chance to show our patriotic spirit. The parade features more than 75 entries and a Grand Marshall. One of the only Flag Day parades in Western Washington.
It’s that time of year again. Come out to the fairgrounds to watch the Elma High School Class of 2017 graduate. Watch as the tassels move side to side and the hats come off! We’ll see you there!
On the third Thursday of each month, The Arc of Grays Harbor offers an informative Parent Support group for parents of kids with developmental disabilities. Contact Charlene at 360-537-7000 for more information.

Creature Teachers brings an assortment of exotic animals to educate people on the wonders of nature and spark a passion for wildlife. This event is part of Summer Reading, a Timberland Regional Library district-wide program.
Learn about Disability Rights Washington’s programs and activities and ways to get involved. Discuss DRW’s current priorities and share what issues are important to you and your community. Sit down with others for a focused discussion on an area of interest to you & watch short films produced by the video and social media project of Disability Rights Washington, Rooted in Rights. Additionally, there will be a separate session to learn about the new Office of DD Ombuds Program at each location.
Ocean Shores will once again bring together two defining characteristics of Grays Harbor — the beach and the trees — with the Sand and Sawdust Festival. Over 100 food and craft vendors will also be at the Ocean Shores Convention Center throughout the festival. Master chainsaw carvers will be competing at the convention center.
Looking for Garage Sales! Elma has enough to keep you busy during Elma City-Wide Garage Sale Days, June 23 – 24, 2017. Pick up your free official Garage Sale Days map at Elma Visitors Station, corner of Main and Third Streets, Elma City Hall and various businesses in Elma. Maps will be ready beginning the afternoon of June 22nd.

The Chamber of Commerce welcomes all to the Sand and Sawdust Festival at the beach! Master, Intermediate, & Novice Sand-Sculptors. At the Convention Center master woodcarvers compete in this amazing annual competition. There are food, craft and specialty vendors. Live auctions are held daily on carvings!
