The Mighty Alliance Fan Fest Tailgate Party is free and fun for the whole family! All ages are welcome. Located at Oyhut Bay, just five miles south of Downtown Ocean Shores.
A master of many musical styles and instruments, Dean Ratzman will entertain audiences at the Aberdeen Timberland Library in August.
This afternoon show features family-friendly tunes. Light refreshments courtesy of the Friends of the Aberdeen Timberland Library.
Ratzman’s shows swing with music from the 1940s through Big Band, Jazz, Blues, Rock and Soul. From Sinatra to Santana, he taps into the musical memories of three generations.

Our Salon Readings feature local authors and poets reading short passages from their work. The public is welcome to listen. Books may be available for purchase and signing.
Saturday, October 1st we’ll be offering our first quarterly Salon Reading. Local writers are joined by readers and those who love story.
Our featured reader is poet Dwight Johnson.
The event begins at 7 p.m., should last an hour to an hour and a half, is free and is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Writers are welcome to come by and read from their work. While there is no need to sign up in advance it is recommended to assure a spot.

Come out to Rokfest 6, the annual music event to raise funds for the South Pacific County Humane Society! Local Harbor favorite band Six Pack Pretty will play 80’s cover tunes, with Woodland,WA-based band Stiffler opening. All proceeds go to help animals in need! Admission is free, with donations accepted.
Fantastic prizes will be raffled off throughout the evening, all for a great cause.

Aberdeen Timberland Library presents LEGO® Club, 3:30-5:30 p.m., October 19 for grades 1-6. Explore your creativity and exercise your brain. Have fun building with LEGO® bricks at the library. The Elma Chamber of Commerce, along with Elma Businesses invite families to the 18th annual Elma Downtown Trick or Treat on Monday, October 31st. Bring your trick or treaters from 3:00 – 6:00 PM to the Elma Chamber and participating businesses. Enjoy a wagon ride on the Elma Feed Store shuttle, which will be loading and unloading at the Elma Chamber.

The Harvest Fair Carnival at the Elma Middle School will be on Monday, October 31, sponsored by the Churches of Elma. The Harvest Fair Carnival is from 5:00 – 7:30 PM and all the “FUN” is free!
The opening reception for the community’s annual Fall Gala art exhibit is slated for Friday, November 4, at the Spellman Library gallery on the Grays Harbor College campus in Aberdeen. The reception is planned from 6 to 8 p.m. This is the 24th annual Fall exhibit by the group of area artists.
Participating Harbor artists include Kathryn Cotnoir, Matthew Coyle, Julie Daniels, Ken Hunt, Kimmi Kerns, Brent Knott, Susan LaMadrid, Loni Lou LaQuill, Carrie L. Larson, Joan Lohr, Roy Lowry, Bev King Lufkin, Ivy M. Moyer, Douglas Orr, Brenda S. Peterson, Erik Sandgren, Ed Schroll, Barb Shillinger, Cara Beth Stevenson, Andrea Vingo, Ron Westman and Nathan Whorton.
The exhibit may also be viewed through December 9 during regular library hours, which are Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Thursdays until 6 p.m., Fridays until 4:30 p.m.; and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Aberdeen Lions Club presents its 12th annual Toast the Harbor Food and Wine Festival.
Patrons will be able to taste wines from a dozen different wineries, beer from two breweries andspirits from a local distiller, plus shop at many different food and retail vendors. We will have bottles of your favorite wines available for purchase.
You will be able to browse and participate in the silent auction items throughout the open hours.
