Between Thanksgiving and Christmas Seabrook will be hiding gifts for you! Each day two limited edition Seabrook glass floats will be hidden in and around Seabrook and on the beach. The glass floats will be yours to keep.
Glass floats will be identified by a laminated tag. Once you find a glass float bring it to the Seabrook Cottage Rental office to register and then it is yours to keep! Keep an eye on Facebook for updates.
There will be groups from Robert Gray Elementary School and Aberdeen High School singing; Hot drinks and cookies (free); Santa will arrive on a Fire Truck; the trees in the park will be lit.
The downtown shops will be open and most are participating. The participating stores will offer a free drawing – just go into each store and fill in a drawing ticket. Drawing will be held on Saturday after 3:00 p.m.

Come join the Grays Harbor Mounted Posse for their Gaming Buckle Series. Events take place at the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds Indoor Arena in Elma, December 2-3, at 9am. Events include: Poles, 2-barrel flags, Figure 8, Cal Stack, Key Race, and Barrels. Age divisions are: Pee Wee/8 and under, Junior /3rd.-5th grade, Intermediate/6th- 8th grade, Senior/ 9th.-12th grade, S. Senior/ 19.-34yrs old and Old Timers/35 and over. Cost to participate is just $25 for the day plus $5 arena fee. We offer a $5 discount for 4H or Equestrian team members. Events also include sorting, 2-man ranch and 3-man arena. Cost is $5 per go, with 4 goes and a $10 arena fee. Spectators can watch for free. For more information contact the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds at 360-482-2651.

WinterFest continues! Beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the D & R Event Center on So. I St., Aberdeen children up to age 12 can have Breakfast with Santa for free (donation for adults); Pictures with Santa (by the GH Hospital Foundation – $10 per picture); free crafts for kids; letters to Santa;
New this year: Holiday Market with 35+ vendors at the former Goldberg’s Furniture Store – 117 W. Wishkah St., Aberdeen – 10:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Downtown shops will be open – free drawing items at all participating stores, including the Holiday Market. Stop by each store and enter the drawings – winners will be notified after 3:00 p.m.
Also new this year – we are partnering with the Grays Harbor Historical Seaport! Activities will begin over there at 2:00 pm on Saturday. They will have their new gift shop open, PAWS will be there to take picture of pets with Santa as well as many other activities.
Join us each Saturday for movies at the library on the big screen. Bring a comfy pillow and bottled water. Popcorn will be provided. Call or stop in for this month’s titles. For all ages.
Design and decorate a gingerbread house out of graham crackers. All supplies and hot cocoa provided while supplies last.
Come to the library to play board games, do crafts, and create the perfect cup of cocoa from our hot chocolate bar. Grades 6-12.
