Meet MYA! Just look at her big beautiful smile! This beautiful girl has had a rough start in life but is now in the loving environment of Adopt-A-Pet of Shelton Washington! She has spent all of her life tethered to a 30 foot runner so imagine her joy at being able to run free for the first time at the Shelter.

Mya is a sweet dog currently in obedience training that is looking for a patient family to love her. Photo courtesy: Adopt-A-Pet

Currently, Mya is in training for basic obedience, leash manners, and recall at Muck Creek Kennels in Roy Washington. Her future will be brighter with the amazing training skills of Jon Borcherding. Bonus for her new family is Jon will train you with Mya for a day!  Mya is very sweet and loving 3 year old American PitBull Terrier. She has beautiful fawn/white coloring, and weighs 58 pounds. She needs to have a very patient and consistent family who will continue to work on leash and basic commands with her. Mya is a great companion who would do best in an all adult home environment and to be the only dog; however she has lived around cats. If you have it in your heart to give Mya a loving and forever home, please contact the Adoption Team at Adopt-A-Pet.

Adopt-A-Pet has many great dogs and always need volunteers. To see all our current dogs, visit the Adopt-A-Pet website,  our Facebook page or at the shelter on Jensen Road in Shelton. For more information, email thedoghouse3091@hotmail.com  or call 360-432-3091.
