Meet Joey! He is a 10-year-old, 17-pound, Jack Russell mix boy who has a white with tan spots short coat. Joey is a reserved boy who is looking for a family who will let him be the best companion dog ever! Joey loves to play in the yard, go for walks around the neighborhood on a leash, and car rides especially to a drive through for a plain burger patty! Joey is shy at first, taking time to warm up, so please be patient during our introduction. He loves to carry a tennis ball around and will give soft toys a quick shred!
Because of Joey’s age, he does have arthritis in his left front leg, which he is on medication for. Although fetch is his favorite, he will need restricted activity, and fetch is now about a 1 foot toss. He is on a grain free diet, monthly flea medication, and a fenced yard is required. He would like nothing more than to spend a quiet evening snuggling on the sofa with you.
If you have further questions, emails are the only method of communication at this time. We all care about the health of our two-legged caregivers and the community at large, so as a precaution we are temporarily suspending our public open hours. We are still taking email inquiries and applications, and will be in touch with you as soon as we are able. We appreciate everyone’s understanding during this difficult time! Stay Well!
