You don’t want to miss Elma’s Christmas and Holiday Bazaar Weekend, November 20 through 22, 2015. Start early and pick up the map of bazaars, in the drop box, at Elma Visitors Station, corner of Main and 3rd Streets. Also check Elma Chamber Facebook page to view the flyer with dates and times.

There are 8 bazaars that have published information. The annual Country Christmas Bazaar at the fairgrounds is in the 37th year!  After the bazaars, browse the quaint shops located in downtown Elma and have lunch at one of the many restaurants or groups offering lunch. Aberdeen High School’s production of “Oklahoma!” takes place with performances planned at 7:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 20-21, and at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22.

The Port of Grays Harbor, along with the Grays Harbor Council of Governments, cordially invite the public to attend an open house regarding the Port’s Recreation Lands and Facilities Plan.

he open house is the public’s opportunity to learn more about proposed future plans for the Port’s various recreation sites and provide feedback to help shape the Plan’s final goals and objectives.  The Port is developing a Recreation Lands and Facilities Plan so that it may become eligible for state and federal funding in the future.  The open house is one of several public participation opportunities offered during the planning process. The Plan is scheduled to be adopted by the Port Commission in early 2016.

Jinglelights is a dazzling outdoor, Christmas lights show located in Central Park. Each show lasts 40 minutes and includes 140,000 lights synchronized to cheerful, holiday music. Hot coco and a campfire are usually available for visitors. The show is a fundraiser for the local “Shop with a Cop” program with a donation can on site. The show begins on December 2 and runs through December 27. Community members can enjoy this lively event any night of the week, except Mondays and Tuesdays. Show times are hourly from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with an additional 9:00 p.m. show on Friday and Saturday. Poor weather conditions may require the show to be canceled for a certain night. Why kids should get all the holiday fun? The Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad is hosting our second annual Santa Express Silver Edition train ride, exclusively for riders 21 and over! You’ll feel like a kid again as you take a festive, peaceful ride along the Upper Nisqually Valley while sipping cocoa, nibbling on cookies, listening to Christmas music and visiting with Santa. This year, Heritage Distilling Company will be onboard to assure your ride is merry and bright. Enjoy special hot chocolate, spiked cider, and loaded eggnog at a no-host cash bar. It’s great for couples. It’s fun for friends. And it’s only for riders 21 and over! Seating is limited and our Santa Express rides fill up fast, so book your seats as soon as possible.

The Holiday Market is one of SBAA’s major fundraisers for the year.  It helps SBAA pay for free classes we offer the coastal community as well as helping us keep our workshops affordable by supplementing supplies and materials.

Stage West Community Theatre Presents the romantic comedy, “Things My Mother Taught Me” written by Katherine DiSavino. Gabe and Olivia are moving from New York to Chicago. It’s a big deal because Gabe is going to propose to Olivia and he’s invited their parents to share in his big moment. Unfortunately, things go horribly wrong! This play promises to make you laugh at the wacky characters and situations the young couple encounter.  Tickets available at Dolores’ and Faye’s, the Ocean Shores Visitors Information Center and at the Door.

Join the South Beach Buccaneers as they welcome Santa to the South Beach. Santa arrives at the Westport Marina at 10:30 a.m. and is escorted to the Lens Building at the Maritime Museum by enthusiastic children and the Westport Fire Department. Visit Santa, have your photo taken and play with the pirates in the Lecture Hall. Elma Chamber of Commerce and Elma Feed and Farm Supply are sponsoring Pictures with Santa. Bring your kids and pets to Elma Feed and Farm Supply Store. Digital pictures with holiday photo frame are $5 each and can include as many people or pets as you want in the picture.

Jingle Jam is a free event for the whole family! Come join Grace Harbor Covenant and get free pictures with Santa, make cool Christmas crafts, have fun taking a “winter selfie,” enjoy delicious cookies and decorate your own! Grab your best girl, because Seabrook and Wishkah River Distillery invite you back to 1933 to celebrate the “End of Prohibition” at the Town Hall on the 82nd anniversary of that joyous day which made all of our lives just a little more enjoyable.

Master Distiller, Josh Mayr and his crew will be pouring samples of their distinguished line of spirits. They will also be serving craft cocktails for purchase, all evening.

Starting at 7pm, Jacob Miller and The Bridge City Crooners will fill the hall with the sounds of Vaudeville, West Coast ragtime and swing. So find your fedora, polish your wing-tip shoes and spiff up that bow-tie, we have a night of revelry and merriment planned for you.
