Metal Church is coming home to Aberdeen! Reunited with lead vocalist Mike Howe and better than ever… These guys have not performed together on stage since 1994 and have chosen the Harbor as their first live show. New album to be released in March. Tickets on sale now.

Join students from Evergreen State College’s Grays Harbor program for a free, family-friendly event!
Students will share highlights from the year, including an overview of the OSPI Candidates Forum, oral history interviews, and other research projects.
Learn about the history of Harbor schools and discover what’s possible when communities and schools form partnerships.
Light refreshments will be served. Free art projects and face-painting for the little ones.

SummerFest kicks off at Oyhut Bay on Memorial Day Weekend. Bring the family and enjoy live music from local favorites, The Bruce Hughes Band.
Nosh on a picnic-style catered dinner with dessert from Emily’s Confections and refreshments for the first 100 guests, compliments of Oyhut Bay.

Free fun for the whole family! Afternoon outdoor concert in the plaza at Oyhut Bay with singer/songwriter Abi Grace. Oyhut Bay is a new community of cozy cottages and retail located five miles south of Downtown Ocean Shores.
Grays Harbor Symphony Orchestra members are preparing “An American Salute” concert for their annual spring performance.
Conducted by William Dyer, the community musicians will play some familiar tunes like Sousa’s “The Stars and Stripes” and Copland’s “Hoedown.” Soprano Joy Dorsch will be featured in selections from Copland’s “Old American Songs.”

South Beach Arts Association will open That Summer Gallery every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from July 1 through Sept 25. Over 50 artists from the Harbor and surrounding communities will display and sell their artwork. During the summer, there will be special weekends at the gallery. July 1–4 will feature artwork from grade school students who participated in the Fine Arts portion of the After School Program at Ocosta School. Members of the SBAA took turns teaching an art medium each month. The following is a schedule of other special weekends to look forward to this summer at the gallery:
- July 9–10: Garden art and plant sale
- Aug. 6–7: Join us for a collaborative urban art project.
- Aug. 27: Silk scarf painting demonstration with Kristi Beitzel
- Sept 24–25: Fall Out with the miniature art exhibit.

Come out to Rokfest 6, the annual music event to raise funds for the South Pacific County Humane Society! Local Harbor favorite band Six Pack Pretty will play 80’s cover tunes, with Woodland,WA-based band Stiffler opening. All proceeds go to help animals in need! Admission is free, with donations accepted.

Jeremy Kittel is an American fiddler, violinist, and composer. Fluent in multiple genres, his original music draws from traditional roots, jazz, Celtic, classical, eletronic, and more. He has composed and arranged for artists Jars of Clay, Yo-Yo Ma, and the Silk Road Ensemble. The Trio appeared in “Prairie Home Companion,” in addition to their frequent tours. The Festival begins the evening of Tuesday, October 18, 2016 and lasts until Sunday, October 23, 2016. An eclectic mix of Irish bands, choirs and dancers hailing from throughout the United States, Canada and, of course, Ireland will be rounding out this year’s entertainment.
In addition to our own Celtic Imports Gift Shop we have an array of Celtic vendors in our vendor village inside the convention center.
There are a limited number of VIP tickets available so buying early is important for those of us who don’t want to miss the festivities at Galway Bay.
