Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. Come relax as Stephanie leads us through calming stretches and balance. Please wear comfy clothes bring a towel and a yoga mat if you have one.
Join us each Saturday for movies at the library on the big screen. Bring a comfy pillow and bottled water. Popcorn will be provided. Call or stop in for this month’s titles. For all ages.
Harbor Haylofters are starting their Fall dance lessons on Tuesday nights from 7 – 8 pm. Lessons are from Sept 17 – Nov. 19 (excluding the first Tuesday of October and November).
Adults and kids 12 years and older can enjoy a fun time with our club members

Traditional square dance clothing is not necessary for classes.

The Build Off Early Learning Fun Fair is a free family fun event that will challenge children’s imaginations. Participants will try to build the tallest structure out of Keva planks in hopes of winning great prizes. After testing their building expertise, they will join our fun fair for art and science projects, safety games, and kids’ activities presented by a host of community organizations dedicated to early learning.

Promised Land is an award winning social justice documentary that follows two tribes in the Pacific Northwest: the Duwamish and the Chinook, as they fight for the restoration of treaty rights they’ve long been denied. This program is part of Timberland Reads Together, featuring “There, There” by Tommy Orange and Native Voices, focused on Indigenous Peoples history and culture.
Join others in a conversation about the book “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings” by Maya Angelou. Everyone is welcome to join any or all discussions.

This presentation will briefly highlight the natural and cultural history of the Quinault Region. Most of the presentation will look at the events and activities leading up to the land and river conditions we see today, and what the Quinault Indian Nation has done and plans to do with its natural resources and economic development.
Music, movement, books and activities for the whole family. All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult. This program is sponsored by the Elma Timberland Regional Library and will be held on the second floor of the Wellness Center in the children’s play area (Oct & Nov).
