Let us welcome Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance to Seabrook and Grays Harbor Community and show them that we are committed and we want to get our hands dirty. Please be a part of the team in creating this new adventure for Seabrook, the local community and Grays Harbor County. The Global Entrepreneurship Week: Business Kickoff Event will offer aspiring entrepreneurs free information, resources, support, and inspiration needed to successfully start a business. Participants will receive a specialized form that will assist in organizing the information available at this event. This form will keep track of who they’ve spoken to, services that are useful to them specifically, and how to get in contact with those resources at a future date.
After an hour or so of informational browsing, there will be a brief speech offered by a local entrepreneur sharing some of the hardships and successes they’ve experienced while starting and developing their business.
After that will be additional time to gather information, and finishing the evening off with a free drawing for a prize basket.

The Port of Grays Harbor, along with the Grays Harbor Council of Governments, cordially invite the public to attend an open house regarding the Port’s Recreation Lands and Facilities Plan.
he open house is the public’s opportunity to learn more about proposed future plans for the Port’s various recreation sites and provide feedback to help shape the Plan’s final goals and objectives. The Port is developing a Recreation Lands and Facilities Plan so that it may become eligible for state and federal funding in the future. The open house is one of several public participation opportunities offered during the planning process. The Plan is scheduled to be adopted by the Port Commission in early 2016.

The Elma High School FFA is hosting their annual Hunger Run… or walk to support the EHS food drive, Foodbowl. All profits from this event will go directly to the Elma, McCleary, and Malone food banks. There will be a 5k and 10k race option. Prizes will be awarded to both the male and female race winners as well as the male and female best dressed in a holiday outfit winners. All participants will also receive a free t-shrit (as supplies last). Registration begins at 9:00am on the 12th, route maps will be given out then. Volunteers will be there to assist all the runners at every turn.
