Due to library closure for new carpet, entrance for this program is at the back door. The program will be in the meeting room and no other services will be available. America’s Music is a free film series highlighting popular music genres from the 20th century. Each session features a particular music era. Feel free to bring your lunch. Treats and beverages will be provided. This event features “The History of Rock and Roll: Plugging In.”

Etherian Theatre Company presents “The Last Five Years” as their first production. All profits from the show will be donated to The Uncle Craig Foundation to support people affected by the flooding and landslides in Grays Harbor County earlier this year.
Jason Robert Brown’s Drama Desk winner, The Last Five Years, has been translated into a handful of languages and was named one of Time Magazine’s 10 best shows of 2001. A testament to the show’s longevity and spurred by the show’s regional popularity, The Last Five Years enjoyed an Off-Broadway revival at Second Stage in 2013. A film adaptation is being released in 2014 starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan.
An emotionally powerful and intimate musical about two New Yorkers in their twenties who fall in and out of love over the course of five years. The show’s unconventional structure consists of Cathy, the woman, telling her story backwards while Jamie, the man, tells his story chronologically; the two characters only meet once, at their wedding in the middle of the show.
This show has adult themes and language, and is intended for mature audience.

Artists of all media types create functional and not-so-functional pieces of spectacular fashion in this year’s show, “Myths and Legends” that comes to life in one magical evening of music, dance and wearable art.

Eat ice cream, talk about books you like, and hear about more books. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Aberdeen Timberland Library. This event is part of Summer Reading, a Timberland Regional Library district-wide program.
Start the evening with a short memorial and placement of flowers on Aberdeen’s Honor our Founding Family at 5:30 at Fern Hill Funeral Home (2208 Roosevelt Street, Aberdeen) followed by a social hour starting at 6:00pm at the Aberdeen Museum of History where you can mingle with friends and the suspects to gain clues to the murder and help to solve the case.
We will have special speakers, colorful characters and a killer desert.

The City of Aberdeen was founded by Mr. Samuel Benn on May 28, 1868, when Sam and his family landed on the banks of the Lower Chehalis. Mr. Benn’s birthday, July 2, is our official Founders’ Day. Join us the Saturday prior to Independence Day each year to celebrate our city and its rich history full of logging, fishing, saloons, brothels, crime, mystery, culture and much, much more.
There will be a parade starting at 11:00 a.m., once the parade is over stroll to Broadway Street to enjoy the children’s fun area and vendors of all kinds. Enjoy the day and end it with a Beer Garden with live music to dance to your hearts content.
America’s Music is a free film series highlighting popular music genres from the 20th century. This session covers Mambo music and features the film “Latin Music USA.” Bring your lunch and enjoy the treats and beverages provided.

Friday, July 3
Our annual Porch Illumination walk and home decoration event is on July 3 from 6:00 pm. to 9:00 p.m. Join us in Crescent Park for s’mores, volleyball, and voting after the walk. Bring your roasting stick and special ingredients for a community s’mores roast while everyone drops off their ballots from the Porch Illumination.
Head up to the Saturday Market for fun including kids activities and a Bike Parade! Enjoy live music from The Bruce Hughes Band from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Front Street. Fireworks are not allowed within Seabrook town limits, but we recommend a trip down to the beach. Please read the fireworks restrictions below.
A tradition on the North Beach! Meet us on the sand at 9:00 a.m. to collect debris and leftovers from the previous night’s celebration to leave our coastline cleaner than it was before!
