Workshop: Your Business – Franchise Smart @ Raymond Timberland Library
Mar 23 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

A series of free entrepreneurship workshops kick-off this March throughout Southwestern Washington to bring education to people who are interested in starting their own businesses but may be unaware of the many free resources available to them in their local area.

Your Business – Start Smart is the result of a partnership between the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Seattle District Office and the Timberland Regional Library System (TRL).

The program pulls together resources from the SBA, its resource partners, and TRL to provide a two-hour seminar covering the following five topics:

  • Characteristics and motivations of entrepreneurs
  • Initial considerations, steps and planning
  • Financing options
  • Market research tools
  • Local resources

In addition to the initial Start Smart class, the program will deliver workshops focused on franchising and online retailing; with plans to add more classes in the future. The classes are free, but registration is required.

Visit http://tinyurl.com/SBAStartSmart for more information about the Start Smart program and classes throughout all of Western Washington.
