The 7th Street Theatre presents 10 films and over 15 hours of Horror with Hot August Frights!
Monsters and marvels will be on screen throughout the day, from bats to spiders and every creepy- crawly in between to make your skin tighten and your hair stand up on end.
For the 4th year, the historic and haunted 7th Street Theatre will be the home of the biggest horror movie marathon in Western Washington. This year, it is even bigger than ever.
From 8:00 a.m. – midnight on Saturday, August 13, 10 films will be on the screen at the historic theatre, starting with the classic Spider Baby at 8am and leading to the groundbreaking Lost World at 10pm.
Featured this year as a modern film is the 2002 cult classic 8 Legged Freaks.

A master of many musical styles and instruments, Dean Ratzman will entertain audiences at the Aberdeen Timberland Library in August.
This afternoon show features family-friendly tunes. Light refreshments courtesy of the Friends of the Aberdeen Timberland Library.
Ratzman’s shows swing with music from the 1940s through Big Band, Jazz, Blues, Rock and Soul. From Sinatra to Santana, he taps into the musical memories of three generations.

Regular meeting of the Chehalis Basin Partnership.
The Partnership will receive a presentation on the draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement regarding flood damage reduction alternatives in the Chehalis, in advance of the opening of the public comment period.
Local artists with hand crafted items for sale. Grange ladies will be serving a light lunch with soup, roll and home made apple crisp.

Our Salon Readings feature local authors and poets reading short passages from their work. The public is welcome to listen. Books may be available for purchase and signing.
Saturday, October 1st we’ll be offering our first quarterly Salon Reading. Local writers are joined by readers and those who love story.
Our featured reader is poet Dwight Johnson.
The event begins at 7 p.m., should last an hour to an hour and a half, is free and is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Writers are welcome to come by and read from their work. While there is no need to sign up in advance it is recommended to assure a spot.

Come out to Rokfest 6, the annual music event to raise funds for the South Pacific County Humane Society! Local Harbor favorite band Six Pack Pretty will play 80’s cover tunes, with Woodland,WA-based band Stiffler opening. All proceeds go to help animals in need! Admission is free, with donations accepted.
Fantastic prizes will be raffled off throughout the evening, all for a great cause.
Come dance the night away at this fun annual community event that makes a difference. Ages 21+. Event runs from 8:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. At Charlie’s Tavern, 313 South Main St., in Montesano.
