Attendees will look at various poetic forms, read some of Wendell Berry’s poems and then participate in some guided conversations around Berry’s work, enjoy more conversation specifically on form, and then do a few writing prompts followed by sharing your pieces.

Shaver Marionettes will present a winter puppet play about an elderly shoemaker, an impishly magical elf, a devoted daughter with baking issues, and a Queen who collects shoes!

A little further up the North Beach is a family friendly event from the creative folks at Seabrook WA. Seabrook Town Hall hosts the jolliest breakfast on the North Beach. Please plan to pay at the door. You can stay a bit and write a letter to Santa, get your family photo with Santa and paint a keepsake ornament.
Montesano United Church will be performing their Cantata on December 11 at 7 pm at the church at 401 East Spruce. The Cantata is the final event of the annual Festival of Lights.
On the third Thursday of each month, The Arc of Grays Harbor offers an informative Parent Support group for parents of kids with developmental disabilities. Contact Charlene at 360-537-7000 for more information.

Fresh off of their first European Tour, catch Portland’s Fox and Bones live at Seabrook Town Hall.
Fox and Bones is a conceptual folk collaboration between American songwriters Sarah Vitort and Scott Gilmore based in Portland, Oregon. Both artists in their own rite (Sarah Wild and The Watch, Just People), the pair had an instant spark when they met, which quickly translated to an electric songwriting chemistry. The duo combines lush two part harmonies and a complex, heartwarming lyrical landscape with soft-spoken yet rich musical accompaniment.
