The Grays Harbor unit 428 of the American Contract Bridge Association hosts a game every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in the Aberdeen Square Building. Partnerships are not guaranteed, but visitors are welcome.
Huge variety of used books, Fiction, Non-Fiction, Children’s, Fantasy, Western, Hard Back, Paper Back, DVD”S, CD”s, Books On Tape and so much more. Most are 2 for $1. Learn what opioids are and how to react to an opiate overdose. Immediately following the presentation will be an opportunity to ask questions as well as to receive a free Naloxene kit from Grays Harbor County Health Department.
The agenda will include the formation of a COAD (Community Organized to Assist in Disaster) group for Grays Harbor. We will be inviting members from various groups involved in Housing, volunteer labor, CERT Teams, Faith Based Teams, Red Cross, Salvation Army, Home Depot, translators, Amateur Radio, Pet and livestock assistance to begin in the formation of a one stop contact group for help during disaster events.

If you are an adult who likes to read Young Adult books, then this book club is for you. This month we will be discussing “The Wrath and the Dawn” by Renee Ahdieh. New members are always welcome.

Professional rodeo cowboys and cowgirls will vie for prizes in such classic rodeo events as bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronco, tie-down roping, barrel racing and, the always anticipated, bull riding competition. Over the three day show, the public can visit various vendors and food booths. And a dance party, complete with live music, is also scheduled for Saturday night. Sunday is Kids Day, complete with stick horse races, bouncy houses for the kids, and games as well.
