During daytime hours on Monday, July 8 through Thursday, July 11, Washington State Department of Transportation bridge preservation engineers and maintenance crews will intermittently close the US 12 Heron Street Bridge to vehicle traffic for a routine inspection of the bridge’s mechanical and electrical components. Drivers may see up to four closures per day, and each closure may be up to 15 minutes at a time.

Monday through Thursday, July 8-11:

  • From 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Drivers should expect up to four intermittent closures of the US 12 Heron Street Bridge to vehicular traffic for up to 15 minutes a time.

WSDOT conducts regularly scheduled inspections on all state bridges and structures. In the event of severe weather conditions, the inspection could be rescheduled.
