Hedlund Trees

With over 30,000 trees to choose from, Hedlund Christmas Trees in Montesano is another great choice. They offer noble, Fraser, Nordmann, grand and Douglas firs for that perfect Christmas tree.
They open the day after Thanksgiving and will have Santa visiting 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. that Friday-Sunday, as well as the first weekend of December.
Choose your tree, and they will cut it down for you! Then enjoy a free candy cane for the kids while you wait. They carry deluxe tree stands, fresh wreaths and crafts from local artists so you can finish your holiday shopping and decorating in one stop! National Forest Trees
Now through December 31
You can also go out into the forest and select a Christmas tree from a National Forest. You will need a $5 permit, which you can purchase online or from vendors in Port Angeles, Sequim, Quilcene and Hoodsport. You can choose a tree from certain areas in Forks, Hoodsport, Quilcene, Quinault and the Quinault Special Management area. Fourth graders can receive a free permit. Limit of five permits per household and they cannot be over 15-feet tall. There are some other rules too, so read through the Recreation.gov site before you go.
