Join us for a family day of Trail Races, an Artists Market, Boy Scout cooking demonstrations, Kids Activities, a Pancake Breakfast, live music, Food Vendors, Historical Talk and more for the Discover Lake Sylvia Fall Festival at Lake Sylvia State Park in Montesano, WA.
Dr. Jerome Zechmann will be giving a lecture Tuesday, September 22 at 5:30pm on a minimally invasive technique he uses for hip replacements called SuperPATH.

Running by the cranberry bogs is an incredible experience, getting many up close and personal with one of Grays Harbors most famous industries. Offering a 10k, a 5k and a 3k run, the Jog the Bog and Beach Race in Grayland, Washington is fun for all levels of runners. Taking place on the beach and along the roads leading through the cranberry bogs, the terrain of this race is flat, easy to follow and fun for the whole family. Race participant s will receive a comparative t-shirt that is sure to bring back fond memories of this race each time you wear it. If you are in or near Westport in October, the Jog the Bog and Beach run is a must-do running event.

The Global Entrepreneurship Week: Business Kickoff Event will offer aspiring entrepreneurs free information, resources, support, and inspiration needed to successfully start a business. Participants will receive a specialized form that will assist in organizing the information available at this event. This form will keep track of who they’ve spoken to, services that are useful to them specifically, and how to get in contact with those resources at a future date.
After an hour or so of informational browsing, there will be a brief speech offered by a local entrepreneur sharing some of the hardships and successes they’ve experienced while starting and developing their business.
After that will be additional time to gather information, and finishing the evening off with a free drawing for a prize basket.
This special screening event is presented by KBTC Public Television, Grays Harbor Public Health and Social Services and Grays Harbor Early Learning Coalition.
Join us for a conversation about how we can support early learning in our communities. Light refreshments will be served.
