This Spring Break, the Hands On Childrenβs Museum will chomp, stomp, and roar with awesome dinosaur-themed activities and exciting special guests from March 23 β April 14. Examine real fossils with experts from the Burke Museum and Fossil Team PDX. Meet the Raptor Ambassadors with The Falconer and learn about birds of prey and their dinosaur ancestors. Explore epoch extinction events, create prehistoric cave paintings, dig for dino bones, watch wacky Dr. Science demos, join the dino stomp dance party, and more!

Celebrate spooky season in the dark northwest forests by solving a murder mystery at the Lake Quinault Lodge. Come dressed in your best 1920s costume, enjoy a premium buffet dinner from the Roosevelt Room, and flout prohibition with cocktails and other drinks. AmeriCorps members in Aberdeen to unite in service on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
AmeriCorps members will volunteer, lead activities at Stewartβs Memorial Park Jan 20
ABERDEENβ The Moore Wright Group of Aberdeen is inviting AmeriCorps members and community volunteers for a day of beautifying Stewartβs Memorial Park, 2332 N B. St. The event takes place at 10 a.m. Jan. 20. Volunteers should dress warmly and wear work gloves.
Their service project is one of thousands simultaneously occurring across the country to honor the late civil rights leader.
Observed each year on the third Monday in January, Martin Luther King, Jr., Day is the only federal holiday designated as a National Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to honor the life and legacy of Dr. King and improve their communities. AmeriCorps has been charged with leading this effort for more than a quarter century. While much work remains to fulfill Dr. King’s dream of creating the Beloved Community, AmeriCorps remains committed to showing that joining together in service can unify Americans of different backgrounds and experiences to transform unjust systems through a fierce urgency of now.

In residence at Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen, Washington, the Coast Trio specializes in repertoire for violin, viola and cello. Because of the versatility of their instruments they are able to perform a wide variety of music featuring everything from the classics of Corelli, Handel, Beethoven and Mozart, to tangos, movie music, Elvis and Taylor Swift.
Acoustic Rock Musician, Jon Reynolds will be performing a variety of rock covers and originals at this all ages evening performance.
