The Grays Harbor unit 428 of the American Contract Bridge Association hosts a game every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in the Aberdeen Square Building. Partnerships are not guaranteed, but visitors are welcome.
Come play and sing with a group of music enthusiasts who share a love of music in the Elma Library meeting room. Players of all levels are welcome. BYOI (bring your own instrument). We do not offer instruction.
Each spring, hundreds of thousands of shorebirds stop to rest and feed along the Washington Coast and in the Grays Harbor estuary during their migration northward. Coming from as far south as Argentina, these Arctic-bound shorebirds are among the world’s greatest migrants. Some birds travel over 15,000 miles round trip! The concentration of birds during spring migration offers people a great chance to view a number of shorebird species.
Pre-registration is recommended for fee events and must be postmarked by April 16, 2018.
Artists compete for thousands of dollars in prizes in judged competitions on works including fine arts, photography, and 3D. Fine art will include oils, acrylics, pen and pencil, watercolor, pastel, etc. Photography pieces will include film, digital, and electronic media. 3D art includes pieces such as fiber art, leather work, carvings, sculptures, etc.

Creating Career Readiness Opportunities for Young People in your Community
“This conference is for all community members who are concerned for Washington’s future,” added Jim Minkler, President at Grays Harbor College. “It is our goal to help facilitate increased partnerships between agencies like the college and city, county, non-profit, and private businesses in the areas, as well as working closely with our K-12 and university partners in building career pathways through thoughtful, educational planning informed by the communities we serve.”
