Join the South Beach Buccaneers as they welcome Santa to the South Beach. Santa arrives at the Westport Marina at 10:30 a.m. and is escorted to the Lens Building at the Maritime Museum by enthusiastic children and the Westport Fire Department. Visit Santa, have your photo taken and play with the pirates in the Lecture Hall. Jingle Jam is a free event for the whole family! Come join Grace Harbor Covenant and get free pictures with Santa, make cool Christmas crafts, have fun taking a “winter selfie,” enjoy delicious cookies and decorate your own! It’s a great time to get together in our community and spread joy this season! It’s from 1pm-4pm and completely free!

The Elma High School FFA is hosting their annual Hunger Run… or walk to support the EHS food drive, Foodbowl. All profits from this event will go directly to the Elma, McCleary, and Malone food banks. There will be a 5k and 10k race option. Prizes will be awarded to both the male and female race winners as well as the male and female best dressed in a holiday outfit winners. All participants will also receive a free t-shrit (as supplies last). Registration begins at 9:00am on the 12th, route maps will be given out then. Volunteers will be there to assist all the runners at every turn.

The Hoquiam High School band and choir will be performing some classic Christmas music at the 7th Street Theatre. The event is free to the public.

In this brand new holiday show The Science of Santa, Doktor Kaboom works from the assumption that science and magic are the same thing, and declares Mr. Claus the world’s greatest scientist! Following this theory, the good Doktor attempts to recreate all of Santa’s wonders.

It’s the hipper-than-hip music we all love to sing and groove to. Tower of Power is back to bring the house down. Best opportunity in the world to see great bands perform right in your own backyard.

Metal Church is coming home to Aberdeen! Reunited with lead vocalist Mike Howe and better than ever… These guys have not performed together on stage since 1994 and have chosen the Harbor as their first live show. New album to be released in March. Tickets on sale now.

Kids Day will include; Mechanical bull rides for all kids ages 16 and under, Bouncy Houses, Balloon art by Professor Bamboozle, face painting, gold mining, trike races, steer roping, and kids can make their own “saddle bag snacks” to take with them, and games. This is also a great time to get your kids signed up for the stick horse races during the rodeo. The first 200 kids, under 10 years old will take home their very own stick horse after the races. So whats going to happen at a Hypnotic House Party for Weight Loss? Essentially we are going to get together and hang out. You will bring a blanket and a pillow or even a Yoga mat if you would like to stretch out. Justin James will hypnotize everyone in the group and give you powerful hypnotic suggestions while some music plays in the background. It will be like daydreaming or taking a nice nap.

So you come hang out and take a nap, what happens next? For some the changes are subtle for others, it can be pretty dramatic. Lifestyle changes that were very difficult to make are suddenly within reach and your habits and choices begin to change overnight.

Children and their families are invited to enjoy the festivities at the McCleary Timberland Library for the Bear Festival. The suggested dress code is royal finery suitable to meet the princess. There will be stories, crafts, games and treats.

Refreshments are provided by the Bear Festival Royalty Committee. Prizes are provided by the Friends of the McCleary Timberland Library

All Timberland Regional Library programs are free and open to the public.

The concerts will include pop classic songs from the “Sixties” such as: Aquarius, It’s My Party, Leavin’ On A Jet Plane, Puff the Magic Dragon.

The concert dates are scheduled for Friday and Saturday evenings, May 20 and May 21 at 7:00 p.m.

Another performance will be held Sunday afternoon, May 22 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel By the Sea, 4612 State Route 109 in Moclips.

Admission is a donation of food or money to the North Beach Food Banks. These are greatly appreciated.

SummerFest kicks off at Oyhut Bay on Memorial Day Weekend. Bring the family and enjoy live music from local favorites, The Bruce Hughes Band.

Nosh on a picnic-style catered dinner with dessert from Emily’s Confections and refreshments for the first 100 guests, compliments of Oyhut Bay.

It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all. With the support of thousands of volunteers like you, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 500 lives a day. Please join us and take action against a disease that has taken too much!

All Kids who are ages 7 to 16 years old (by June 15) are invited to audition for 7th Street Kids’ production of “The Little Mermaid.” No prior experience is required. Kids who audition must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who must fill out and sign forms before auditions. Kids will be taught a short song and dance to perform for the directors at auditions. Approximately 50 Kids will be cast for the musical.

Free fun for the whole family! Afternoon outdoor concert in the plaza at Oyhut Bay with singer/songwriter Abi Grace. Oyhut Bay is a new community of cozy cottages and retail located five miles south of Downtown Ocean Shores.

Grays Harbor Symphony Orchestra members are preparing “An American Salute” concert for their annual spring performance.

Conducted by William Dyer, the community musicians will play some familiar tunes like Sousa’s “The Stars and Stripes” and Copland’s “Hoedown.” Soprano Joy Dorsch will be featured in selections from Copland’s “Old American Songs.”
