At the Convention Center master woodcarvers from all over the world compete in this amazing annual competition. There are vendors, food sales and the live auctions are held daily on carvings! Families and children are invited to enter the sand-sculpting competition or learn sand-sculpting skills at the free lessons.
Let us welcome Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance to Seabrook and Grays Harbor Community and show them that we are committed and we want to get our hands dirty. Please be a part of the team in creating this new adventure for Seabrook, the local community and Grays Harbor County. Every fourth Friday of the month, Summit Pacific Medical Center gives a warm welcome to the community as they arrive to learn about the month’s topic, watch a cooking demonstration and enjoy a healthy dinner.

The City of Aberdeen was founded by Mr. Samuel Benn on May 28, 1868, when Sam and his family landed on the banks of the Lower Chehalis. Mr. Benn’s birthday, July 2, is our official Founders’ Day. Join us the Saturday prior to Independence Day each year to celebrate our city and its rich history full of logging, fishing, saloons, brothels, crime, mystery, culture and much, much more.
There will be a parade starting at 11:00 a.m., once the parade is over stroll to Broadway Street to enjoy the children’s fun area and vendors of all kinds. Enjoy the day and end it with a Beer Garden with live music to dance to your hearts content.

Celebrate Independence Day at Aberdeen’s Waterfront Park Celebrate Independence Day at the City of Aberdeen’s 4th of July SPLASH Festival.
The event begins at noon along the beautiful Chehalis River waterfront and includes:
- live music
- family entertainers
- food and craft vendors
- FREE inflatable rides/games and;
- a spectacular fireworks show over the river at dark

If you have ever wanted to participate in a triathlon, or are looking for a fun summer run around the city of Ocean Shores, the Ocean Shores Tri and Foot Fest is exactly what you are looking for. Offering 11 different styles of races over two days, the Tri and Foot Fest is one of the more inviting for those looking to bike, swim, run, or do all three. On Saturday, July 11, there will be numerous triathlon, duathlon and aqua bike races. On Sunday, July 12, there is a half marathon, 10k run and a 5k run, each showing off the beauty of the Ocean Shores region. With the route being mostly flat, enjoy running along the beach, near wildlife areas and over the miles of canals in Ocean Shores.
Bring your ideas and sketches, we’ll provide the supplies to complete your comic strip. If you are entering 6th – 12th grade, enter the TRL Comic Strip Contest.
