Aberdeen Timberland Library presents LEGO^® Club, 3:30-5:30 p.m., October 19 for grades 1-6. Explore your creativity and exercise your brain. Have fun building with LEGO^® bricks at the library. Make your own creations or get inspiration from the library’s collection of LEGO^® books. For more information call 360-533-2360.

Oakville Timberland Library presents Spooky Art, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m., October 22 for children. Young artists wanted at the library to create spooky crafts and checkout hair-raising books. Costumes are welcome, but not required. For more information call 360-273-5305.

Hoquiam Timberland Library presents Dinosaurs vs. Pirates, 2:30-4 p.m., October 22 for children. In an epic event for the ages, we will celebrate the love of both dinosaurs and pirates with crafts, games, and snacks! For more information call 360-532-1710.

The Elma Chamber of Commerce, along with Elma Businesses invite families to the 18th annual Elma Downtown Trick or Treat on Monday, October 31st.  Bring your trick or treaters from 3:00 – 6:00 PM to the Elma Chamber and participating businesses.  Enjoy a wagon ride on the Elma Feed Store shuttle, which will be loading and unloading at the Elma Chamber.

The Harvest Fair Carnival at the Elma Middle School will be on Monday, October 31, sponsored by the Churches of Elma.  The Harvest Fair Carnival is from 5:00 – 7:30 PM and all the “FUN” is free!

Ring the holiday season in with lights and cheer as Oyhut Bay hosts its First Annual Festival of Lights! Join Oyhut Bay’s developers, homeowners and resort team on Saturday, December 3, at 5:00 p.m. for a lighting ceremony featuring a nine-foot Christmas tree and festive holiday decorations. Sing holiday carols and enjoy hot cocoa, sparkling cider and sweet treats.

Oyhut Bay is also holding a toy drive for the Union Gospel Mission and Friendship House in Aberdeen. If you join us for the Festival of Lights, please consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy for any age child from baby to teenager. The toy drive will continue through December 18 so come by any time and drop your donation in the Real Estate Office or Vacation Rental Office.
