Beachcombing For All Ages will be presented by marine biologist Alan Rammer. This class is open to all ages and is free to attend. Those attending are encouraged to bring their best beach finds for analysis and conversation with Rammer.
Rammer is co-author of the book Glass Fishing Floats of the World. He is retired from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and is a graduate from the University of Washington with a degree in Shellfish Biology and Invertebrate Zoology. Alan’s enthusiasm for the beach is only eclipsed by his gift as an educator. Rammer was the recipient of the 2012 National Marine Educator of the Year award.
The resort’s tasting room, gift shop, restaurant, bakery, nursery and gardens are open daily from 11 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (With the last dinner seating at 6:30 p.m. daily.) Guests are welcome to enjoy lunch during this lecture.
