Stretching for 13 miles, from Copalis to Moclips, this year’s 11th annual festival promises to be an amazing experience. As the only event bridging together the small communities along this section of the Washington Coast, the Chocolate on the Beach Festival has grown into the perfect winter activity in the region. No matter what the weather, smiles, sweets and happiness abound, as it is always raining chocolate during the last week of February along the coast.

This show will bring vendors from all over western Washington and as far as Oregon together to create an unforgettable weekend with a lot to see and do.
With vendors coming in from the Seattle area, Port Angeles, Portland and everywhere in between, there will be a large variety of goods to peruse. Learn what opioids are and how to react to an opiate overdose. Immediately following the presentation will be an opportunity to ask questions as well as to receive a free Naloxene kit from Grays Harbor County Health Department.
The agenda will include the formation of a COAD (Community Organized to Assist in Disaster) group for Grays Harbor. We will be inviting members from various groups involved in Housing, volunteer labor, CERT Teams, Faith Based Teams, Red Cross, Salvation Army, Home Depot, translators, Amateur Radio, Pet and livestock assistance to begin in the formation of a one stop contact group for help during disaster events.

A delicious buffet dinner of prime rib with all the fixings and yummy seafood appetizer stations are the perfect added touch to kick off a great night of fun for all. Also, we will be treated to musical performance by local legend, Ericka Corban.
The evening will conclude with a live auction with many desirable items. Not to mention there will also be a blind wine pull, where for only $20 you can get a bottle of wine that has a minimum value of $20 all the way up $100! If you are an adult who likes to read Young Adult books, then this book club is for you. This month we will be discussing “The Wrath and the Dawn” by Renee Ahdieh. New members are always welcome.
Professional rodeo cowboys and cowgirls will vie for prizes in such classic rodeo events as bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronco, tie-down roping, barrel racing and, the always anticipated, bull riding competition. Over the three day show, the public can visit various vendors and food booths. And a dance party, complete with live music, is also scheduled for Saturday night. Sunday is Kids Day, complete with stick horse races, bouncy houses for the kids, and games as well.
