This workshop will cover a host of renewable energy topics including solar electric, solar thermal, wind, anaerobic digestion, and in-line hydropower. It will provide information on how to get grant writing assistance, receive available utility incentives, tax subsidies and financing for farmers and rural business owners who wish to purchase renewable energy equipment. The USDA Renewable Energy For America Program (REAP) grant deadline is March 31, 2018.

With vendors coming in from the Seattle area, Port Angeles, Portland and everywhere in between, there will be a large variety of goods to peruse. The agenda will include the formation of a COAD (Community Organized to Assist in Disaster) group for Grays Harbor. We will be inviting members from various groups involved in Housing, volunteer labor, CERT Teams, Faith Based Teams, Red Cross, Salvation Army, Home Depot, translators, Amateur Radio, Pet and livestock assistance to begin in the formation of a one stop contact group for help during disaster events.

Professional rodeo cowboys and cowgirls will vie for prizes in such classic rodeo events as bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronco, tie-down roping, barrel racing and, the always anticipated, bull riding competition. Over the three day show, the public can visit various vendors and food booths. And a dance party, complete with live music, is also scheduled for Saturday night. Sunday is Kids Day, complete with stick horse races, bouncy houses for the kids, and games as well.
