Cascades Job Corps College & Career Academy is a tuition-free career training and education program that will connect students with the skills and educational opportunities they need to establish real careers in the high-demand healthcare and information technology industries. Students in the Cascades program receive FREE college education on local campuses, wrap around services, and extensive tutoring, mentoring, and skills development. Students also have the opportunity to earn Microsoft Imagine Academy certifications and industry-recognized credentials in healthcare or information technology via hands-on, practical experience.

Join the Coastal Observation and Seabird Survey Team (COASST) to help make a difference for the environment!
COASST is a citizen science project of the University of Washington in partnership with state, tribal, and federal agencies, environmental organizations, and community groups. COASST believes citizens of coastal communities are essential scientific partners in monitoring marine ecosystem health. By collaborating with citizens, natural resource management agencies and environmental organizations, COASST works to translate long-term monitoring into effective marine conservation solutions.

Join us for a special DIY workshop with our friends from The Sugar Canvas Boutique Bakery! In addition to creating a personalized wood sign from our gallery, you will be treated to a hands-on cookie decorating demonstration by The Sugar Canvas Boutique Bakery. We provide all the materials and instruct you step-by-step. The cost for a workshop is $35 for guests and pre-registration is required. This workshop includes an added fee of $32 for the extra instruction time and cookie decorating supplies, which will be collected during the registration process. This class is part of our 12 Days of Christmas in July. Any guest who attends a workshop in July will be automatically entered into a drawing for 6 months of Free Signs. Each month our winner will be given a code for a free PYP workshop for the months of August 2022 – January 2023
The Fire Rescue Spectacular, July 8, is the ultimate firefighter and first-responder experience for kids! At the free street fair kids can explore a fleet of emergency vehicles, meet first responders, take the Junior Fighter Challenge, enjoy free ice cream, and so much more!
